EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR AN AVIATION EXECUTIVE WITH STRONG OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE
Description of Vacancy: The Director of Operations directs and is responsible for all matters pertaining to Aerovista flight & ground operations, including regulatory compliance and all operations programs. Serves as Operations Advisor to the CEO of Aerovista. This position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this department and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training of employees; planning; assigning, and directing work; appraising performance.
Successful candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Business Management or related field
- Work Experience:10+ years in aviation industry, out of which 2+ years experience as a Director/Manager of Operations within the aviation industry preferably with a charter airlines. Previous experience as Pilot-In-Command will be an advantage.
- Liaison experience with the CAA and/or other aviation industry agents.
- Working knowledge of applicable manuals, inspection procedures, methods, equipment and accepted industry standards.
- Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a high-pressure and dynamic environment.
