Aviation management company based in Dubai FZ is looking to recruit an experienced Purchase & Logistics professional to oversee the company’s spare parts supply and logistics operation.
Required Skills & Experience;
The right candidate must have worked for recently or be coming from an aviation company and will ideally be currently based in the UAE. With a minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience and coming from an engineering background originally, the right candidate will ideally have experience of aviation/aeronautics engineering.
More recently they will have progressed into areas with responsibility for procurement and supply of materials and equipment, material management as well as logistics and supply chain. In addition the ideal candidate will be commercially astute and should be able to demonstrate a recent track record of moving into areas of relationship development and management, developing business and contributing to revenue growth.
- University diploma/degree in engineering is a must (subject of aviation/aeronautics highly desirable).
- Must have recently worked for or currently with aviation company.
- Must have experience in purchasing and supply of materials and equipment (ideally within aviation sector) and associated logistics.
- Commercial awareness, ability to build relationships and develop new business over time is highly desirable.
- Ideal candidate is currently based in the UAE and is available to start as soon as possible.
- Overall minimum relevant work experience of 3-5 years.
- Good command of English language, verbal, written, reading.
