Our Corporate DNA
Aerovista's roots date back to 1999, when the company was established as an aircraft operator in the UAE, operating a fleet of Boeing 737 Classics. In 2010, we made the transition to becoming an aircraft leasing and management company, and also gradually moved on to the more modern Airbus A320 family fleet. Our present day activities encompass a wide range of aviation verticals including: leasing, trading, asset management and consulting services with our primary focus being narrow body mid-life assets.

Executive Team

Yevgen Churyumov
Yevgen started his career in aviation in 2008, with over 14 years of aviation experience. Yevgen prior to joining Aerovista was the Head of Fleet Projects at Ukraine International Airways.
As Vice-President Commercial, Yevgen leads asset origination, deal structuring and transaction execution at Aerovista.

Apandi Lakhiyalov
Holds a Master of Science degree with Honours and a PhD degree in Aeronautics from Ukraine's Kharkov State Aeronautical University. He began his career at the Aeronautical University in 1989 as a Scientific Researcher Officer.
In 1999, Apandi founded Aerovista and under his leadership, the group of companies has grown to more than 150 employees worldwide boasting a top-tier management team with over 50 years of aviation experience.

Jumber Yakobadze
With 15 years of experience in airlines leadership, operations and management, Jumber leads Aerovista’s global operations and commercial activities.
He joined Aerovista in 1999 as Commercial Operations Manager, where he was responsible for aircraft spare parts trading line. Over the years he has gained extensive experience in handling commercial negotiations, acquisition, leasing and placement of aircraft.

Yuriy Tokarev
A passionate aviator, Yuriy joined Aerovista in 2007 and currently leads Asset Management at Aerovista.
He graduated with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kharkov National Aerospace University, which led him to a decade-long scientific and research career at the University. Yuriy has over 25 years of experience in the aviation industry.

Shereef Paduvil
Holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce, majoring in Finance. Shereef has over 13 years of hands-on experience in Finance & Accounting in Airline, Manufacturing and Retail industries. Has extensive knowledge in financial analysis & forecasting and providing strategic guidelines on financial implications of business activities.
Shereef oversees all financial matters at Aerovista, including annual budgeting, cashflow forecasting and financial reporting.

Alim Lakhiyalov
Passionate about marketing, finance, and capital markets. Alim graduated from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver and before starting his career in aviation, Alim was a management consultant working on projects in the banking sector.
He currently leads Aerovista’s marketing initiatives and is the head of investor relations with our capital partners.

Irakli Yakobadze
Passionate aviation analyst with a background in finance and economics, Irakli holds a Master’s degree in finance from City University, London. He possesses extensive knowledge of forecasting, analytics and quantitative methods for financial analysis.
Irakli is primarily responsible for financial modelling and analysis, asset valuation and market research.

Robert Mititelu
Robert Mititelu has started his career in aviation in 2006 and has extensive experience in aircraft and engine transactions both on the transaction management and commercial front. Robert started his career in Aviation with Vallair (Luxembourg) where he quickly rose to the Head of Legal position and played an important role in the company's growth and securing the position as the launch customer for the A321P2F conversion with both Precision and EFW.
Prior to joining Aerovista, Robert was an Asset Manager at MTU Maintenance Lease Services (Amsterdam) where he was in charge of CFM engine trading.
